Every once in and while we all have those days where our dreams seem distant.
We feel as if they may never become a reality.
Days where no how we much we try to remain positive we can’t seem to get rid of the black cloud hanging over our heads. Although those type of days are completely normal, it’s important to find ways to get yourself out of that mindset. To find a dose of inspiration.
The best part is that the inspiration can come in all sorts of styles and formats. Sometimes it’s an awesome blog post or vlog. Sometimes it’s a song where the lyrics hit home or it can even be a passing comment from a friend or family member. It can even be something as simple as taking a walk and clearing your mind.
For me, I love quotes. I love reading how someone in a few short, yet powerful words can inspire a person to have a powerful thought or to take action that can propel their goals forward. It’s amazing how something as simple as a quote at the right moment can change your perspective.
Now don’t get me wrong, I can fully appreciate that at times quotes can seem corny or even cheesy. But you know what, in a world full of seriousness a bit of cheesiness can be refreshing and gives a chance to realize that maybe things aren’t as bad as we originally thought.
It’s for this reason that I started this series of sharing five inspiring quotes with you on a monthly basis.
This is a quick and simple way to share some inspiration with all of you and will hopefully, motivate you. Motivate you to take the next step, whether big or small towards making your goals a reality. That's how you move forward, by taking one step at a time on a regular basis. It that accumulation of those smaller steps that results in one day waking up and realizing your dreams have become a reality.
So here are this month's inspirational quotes:
"The most important thing is to enjoy your life - to be happy - it's all that matters."
- Audrey Hepburn
"It doesn't matter how many times you fail. You only have to be right once and then everyone can tell you that you are an overnight success."
- Mark Cuban
“What if I fail? Oh, but my darling what if you fly?”
- Erin Hanson
"Limitations live only in our minds. But if we use our imaginations,
our possibilities become limitless."
- Jamie Paolinetti
"It always seems impossible until it's done"
- Nelson Mandela
My favourite this month is the one by Jamie Paolinetti. It’s incredible how the biggest obstacle we sometimes face is the voice in our own minds telling us we can't. I think it’s so important to be aware of the enormous impact that the voice in our mind can have without us even realizing it. It’s vital that we do not allow it to control our decisions or create a roadblock to achieving our goals. Often that voice is primarily our fear speaking. Fear is simply an emotion. It’s no different than laughing or crying. It is this mindset that I have been able to be better at putting fear and doubt behind me.
So let me know in the comments below:
